Volvo Trucks Malaysia - Iron Women by Volvo Trucks:
Boosting Representation of Women as Heavy-Duty Truck Drivers
Greater participation of women in the workforce has potential to add RM6 billion to Malaysia's GDP. Volvo Trucks introduced its global initiative, Iron Women, in Malaysia to upskill and empower women for greater representation as heavy-duty truck drivers. ​Five women graduated from its first (2024) cohort.
The pioneering initiative attracted the interest of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development as a long-term collaborative partner. Targeting 100 graduates for 2025, Volvo Trucks identified an opportunity for the Ministry to value add through harassment ad gender bias training and provision of counselling support for women to thrive in a male-dominated industry.

Universal Robina Munchy's (URMunchy's) - URGreen: Empowering Sustainability From Within
Universal Robina Munchy's (URMunchy's) kick-started its corporate sustainability journey with its URGreen campaign in July 2024, aimed at educating employees about sustainability through interactive and engaging content which employees could relate to.
The campaign introduced URMunchy's six sustainability focus areas via an internal kick-off event, a campaign launch video, internal educational posts and quizzes (with prizes for winners) and a video series on each division's contribution to sustainability.

By intergrating content across multiple platforms and fostering active involvement, the campaign is increasing sustainability awareness, creating a sense of ownership among employees, while linking personal actions to corporate goals.

Normalising Mental Wellness Conversations
Driven by its #GardeniaCares brand essence, Gardenia KL has, since 2021, made mental-wellness a core focus of its corporate branding, ensuring conversations about mental well-being become part of everyday life without fear of judgement.

Throughout 2024, Gardenia KL's impactful Wellness Begins at Home programme (in its third year), demonstrated its commitment to both internal and external audiences. The initiatives focused on normalising conversations about mental health and coping mechanisms.

Crisis or Issues Management Award (Agency) - Silver
Chery Auto Malaysia - Chery OMODA 5 Product Update Campaign
Safety is the top priority in the automotive industry. Responding swiftly to a customer complaint, Chery Auto Malaysia investigated the OMODA 5's rear axle matter and kept all OMODA 5 customers and public updated promptly. The updates, across two weeks, were transparent, recording Chery's detailed findings on the root cause of the matter.

Proactively, customers of the affected batch were contacted for vehicle inspections, and a Product Update campaign was launched, inviting all OMODA 5 customers to bring in their vehicles for a complimentary inspection. Chery's prompt communication with stakeholders and managing the matter demonstrated its commitment to providing safe and reliable transportation solutions. ​

Altair - Discover Continuously, Advance Infinitely
Altair is a global leader in computational intelligence, providing software and cloud solutions in Simulation, High-Performance Computing, and Artificial Intelligence. Malaysia serves as hub for ASEAN. The highly technical subject-matter and business strategies from CEO and CTO make it almost impossible to gain editorial coverage in the mass media, particularly in Malaysia, where Tech media covers consumer products (gadgets and devices) and local topics.

Given a modest PR budget, Consultancy proposed a B2B Public Relations programme to position Altair as a thought-leader, leveraging LinkedIn to reach its specific target audience, CEOs, CTOs, engineers, government, and ASEAN customer base, to share significant local news. ​​

We.R.Wira - Promoting Positivity on Social Media
"Doomscrolling", a term coined during the pandemic, remains a very worrying issue today as social media usage increases. Experts continue to highlight how it jeopardises mental health. To counter negativity in the digital space, the organisation developed an idea to spread positive content on social media.

We.R.Wira was initiated in 2023 as a social impact initiative highlighting inspiring feel good stories of unsung heroes. In 2024, We.R.Wira extended its mission to involve students from five IHLs via a contest. Students were required to identify community heroes, interview and produce videos about them, demonstrating that everyone has the potential to be someone's heroes. ​​​
